sir i have a problem please help.. please tell how to add adaptable storage on my samsung on nxt , meaning adding external sd card for internal storage. i couldnt find a option for format for internal storage and i could only find option for format for portable storage in storage setting. please help by enabling format for internal storage , which can be found in other devices
It is to be done with ADB(android developer kit) from PC. check out xda's video for enabling adaptable storage on s7 edge. It would work on your phone probably.
Adoptable storage was designed for much lower end devices. Samsung had very good reason to disable it by default since it just isn't appropriate for a device with high end specs. If Samsung provided it as an option many people would carelessly enable it and then end up flooding the web with reports that their phones have suddenly become inexplicably laggy.
