When someone calls it sounds like they are very far away almost inaudible and sometimes the person on the other end can't hear me also when I customize my contacts the settings are saved yet when they call it still uses the default ringtone

Please perform a soft reset on the device 

Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for about 10 seconds.

*The device may take a screenshot, however keep holding the buttons for a few more seconds
