Many a times we find the need to switch on the flashlight, control music, open the camera immediately and we end up struggling with either the lock screen or the notification panel or other swiping gestures to do the desired tasks.
In many other implementations across android interface developers have added off screen gestures to perform these actions.
Samsung could also use these gestures to allow quick and easy access to such necessary commands like switching in the flashlight or the camera from the off screen.
