note 8 light leak

My friend has bought a new galaxy note 8, and the display light is leaking from the side bezels, I mean from the gap between the display and the bezels. Can he claim the warranty and fix the screen? Has anyone claimed the warranty for this?

he have to visit care and strictly say the open my phone in front of me and chk that the device is opens 1 time or not

It's not Light Bleeding dude, it's common in Edge Display phones .

u can't claim warranty coz it's common with all edge screen mobile from Samsung. if u manage to get a new one still u will face the same issue with the replacement item also.
