Goto Recycle Bin. Select All email (select one email and on top left corner u will see a option to select all).
Press delete on ur bottom Right corner. Done.
Press delete on ur bottom Right corner. Done.

i tried the same but I had 10k+ emails in recycle bin and some of them were 6 months old, we can only delete 500 at a time. so we have to repeat it several time

try to access your email through pc and delete from there in bulk,open the email app on your phone and refresh. It will sync up
