Hi guys,
My phone is Note8. 

The automatic call recorder is always turned on in the phone's settings. But it automatically turns off and does not record calls. But when I check in the settings it shows it is on. Then suddenly one day it will start recording. Then in a day or two it stops recording. The funniest thing is when it stops recording, all the previously recorded calls also simply vanish!!!. Can some expert explain this rare phenomenon please.

Bro, check few settings..inside call recorder..what option has been selected? all numbers, saved number or selected numbers..

For selected numbers, you have to press 3 dots, when you receive a call..and select record calls..

Also, check settings of my files(duration of unused files..)..
or
Clear cache phone settings
or
Clear cache call settings
or
Check if any 3rd party apps or 3rd party call recorder apps are causing this issue.
or
perform reset apps prefrences
settings>applications>click at 3 dots>select reset apps prefrences
or
perform normal phone reset settings(you can find this inside general management)

Just give a try..

MINE IS WORKING PROPERLY(S10+) AND ALL SAVED FILES ARE PERFECTLY FINE..
