I also know when the phone has gone funny because the always on display stops working and the phone screen just stays black when it is off. If the AOD is on then i know the phone is okay, if it's off then i have all or most of the previously mentioned problems with the notification panel.
I have the same issue, the notification panel became useless. A reboot helps but the effect doesn't last long. Additionally, Always On Display always ceases to work at the same time as the notification panel gets irresponsive.
For those who are facing the same issue, if you have Shazam app installed, try removing the Shazam button from the notification panel.
I noticed that the issue once ended at the moment when I ran Shazam using the menu icon instead of the notification panel button because the notification panel wasn't working. I removed the Shazam button then and it's been 5 days without a single occurence of this issue since then.
Hi... I have the same problem. every time this happens, I must go to setting and manually turn on "airplane mode". some times it doesn't happen for few days and sometimes it happens every 1 hour.
