And no, before you say it, it's not Portrait now. Portrait works very different as it needs a face for it to work, and also you cant change it before the picture has been made. So my question stands, why did they remove the single most awesome feature of the camera app. I used it all the time, and now I don't even bother anymore taking pics. Shame on you samsung, just completely removing or changing a feature beyond recognition is inexcusable!

Hi,
After taking the photo in portrait mode, click on it in your camera roll and at the bottom of the image it'll say 'Change background effect' click that and you can use the slider to change the amount of blur.

Portrait mode doesn't need a face to work. Just tap on your subject to focus and click. Tested and still working on my Note 20 on oneui 3.1.

It does need a face to work. It actually says "find a face". At least on my Galaxy s10 plus with all the latest updates. Clicking on my subject does nothing.

I have a Note 10+ and the portrait mode does work like live focus. It automatically focused and gave the stay within 3-5 feet message.
