After S10 release Android pie will be released, note 8 will get Android pie by April or May.

If you need proof wait till Samsung announces Android Pie for note 8, this is just my calculation based on Samsung past software update. s10 will be released with Android Pie so no Samsung phone will receive Android P update before that & s10 will be released by March so after that only you can expect it.
