It has been marked by many users that the stock wallpapers coming with every respective flagship device are brilliant and adds upto the beauty of display.
If Samsung can drop this feature for lockscreen especially for a transition between day and night mode for wallpapers that would be icing on a cake.

For eg: There are both light and dark versions of same kind of wallpapers available in the device. If the device is able to switch from a light version to the dark version of wallpaper which is triggered by the dark mode settings that would be amazing.

Maybe this isn't considerable for the users who don't use stock/in-built wallpapers but these wallpapers are very good quality and also increases the aesthetics of the overall flagship device .

I am emphasizing more on this feature which is developed by Team Samsung because that won't be buggy and deliver a premium look and feel. Tasker like apps are a quick solution but might stammer the performance substantially. So concerning about the performance and health of the flagship devices it would be better if Samsung drops this feature officially.

a stock app or feature is always better than using a third party app
