Vowifi call recordings still not working for Note9 after latest update on 24th JULY'20, which was the last hope, as suggested by Samsung team/customer support... Pl confirm if someone is having any idea... or if anyone can suggest some third-party app working OK on vowifi call recordings

vowifi call recording is not available on samsung devices, only call recording will be done over normal calls without vowifi calling.

No, it's not correct... Actually call recording is a feature of hardware mfr(Here it's Samsung) & service provider has nothing to do with this.

I use jio and there has support for call records over vowifi on other brand mobile devices but as of now samsung does not support vowifi call recordings and there is no external software to record vowifi calls

In simple words Vowifi also termed as "wifi calling", which allows customers to make and receive calls over a wifi network.





You need not to change your existing numbers, just find out if your handsets are compatible with this feature or not.


With the help of this feature you can make wifi calls to the other persons regardless their phone supports wifi calling or not.

Once you set up Wi-Fi Calling, you will have to follow the same process as traditional voice calls.


Your phone will automatically toggle between Wi-Fi and cellular network to provide you a seamless call with the best experience.


For seamless performance it is recommended you should keep both VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling switched on.


Also, you can make wifi calling while roaming anywhere in India.




COST TO MAKE WIFI CALLING:





This feature is available at no additional charge and is included as part of your existing voice plan.


WIFI calls to international numbers are billed as international calls(also known as ISD calls).






FEW DRAWBACKS:





WiFi calling is not free as you may mistake it to be. It is underlined that ‘A Wi-Fi call will be treated exactly the same as a regular call.’ So, calls and texts will reflect in your Airtel/Jio master balance.


WiFi Calling doesn’t support international calls or roaming calls from a foreign country to India. However, the operators are not at fault here as this is mandated by Law Enforcement Agencies.


Calls made using either Jio/Airtel’s WiFi Calling Services to any other network or number not having Wi-Fi Calling Services would be possible and will be charged for at the existing prices/ plans as applicable to other networks for the duration of the call.


It doesn’t work if the Airplane mode is turned on


Also, right now there is no facility to record wifi calling(Samsung specific point)
