Do Germany users pay more to Poor Samsung there for providing quick and fast updates?
Only Germany users receives Security updates at the start of the month and other countries specifically Asian Countries get it when the month is about to over. What is the benefit for that?
VPN doesn't work, as far as I could discern. This is because the models are different and we cannot use the German version of software.
Also, tech geeks do not exclusively use Oneplus. I have owned both OP5 and OP8 Pro, and definitely Samsung doesn't lag anywhere but updates (and that too especially in India). As for usability, I miss the faster display on OP8 Pro, but Note 20 is more vibrant to me, and doesn't have the irritating edges. The S Pen is a huge difference by itself. And Samsung offers a lot more customisability if you know how to. And finally, the Color OS in OP has just killed the last charm OP had.
@mrankeet OnePlus provides updates for 3 years and not 4. Further more tech geeks don't necessarily buy oneplus. JerryRigEverything uses a samsung. Marques Brownlee uses an iPhone. It's your choice which phone to buy. Although it's true that samsung doesn't care about a bunch of people complaining for updates. The point is EU has some rules which all companies have to follow and it includes fast security updates. Therefore samsung pushes updates faster in Europe and that too Germany because India is a huge market as compared to Germany. In case after update something goes wrong then they can stop seeding the update and work on a fix before releasing in India.
