That's true, some says that the reason is Samsung was busy to develop and introduce their One UI update to many different devices, but that's not acceptable.

Dear friend, Samsung's June update will be released soon as it is already released in may countries.
The feature to clear junk files and cache is also available in almost all samsung devices from 2014 onwards. Check your phone Device Care app
The update which you got is a security patch. What's the android version on that device?
Google is developing a new method to give updates. With this method innorder to do a security update, the software doesn't needs to be installed. It will be automatically pushed through Google play store. This method will be implimented soon so that we don't need to be worried about the security updates in future.
