Spotify starts running automatically

Hi,

Whenever I connect my phone to the car Bluetooth, Spotify activates and starts running automatically. This was a problem with my Note 8,9 and now 20Ultra. I fail to figure out the solution despite going through all the "settings" available. Clearly I'm missing something. Pls help.

To turn off auto play please try the following:

Tap Home .

Tap Settings .

Under Playback, scroll down to Autoplay and switch it on (green) or off (gray).
See image and turn off toggle in front of autoplay

Mark solution if it works.

Unfortunately, my AutoPlay settings are already disabled. I believe this works only when the play list ends and Spotify returns to the first song.
