Software upgrade

Hey people, 

I am using Galaxy note 9 as my daily driver. 

I purchased this phone in UAE last year (August 2019) but I am living and using this phone in India.

I haven't received any updates .

Like my phone is still in 

*Android 9, 

*Security patch of July 1, 2019

*One UI 1.0. 

Why is that so ? Could u guys please help me with it ? What should I do to receive update?

if you have 🖥 try updating ur phone with smart switch.

or you can flash indian updated firmware using Odin.

hi ! checked with smart switch in my Computer ! It says device is up to date..
My build number is N960FXXS3CSG1

Then the only option you have is to flash Indian flash file using Odin.

as of now many note 9 devices are facing display discoloration issue after march 2020 update. If your device is working fine do not rush for latest update, keep patience till they fix this issue entirely.

If you want to take a chance then download indian Firmware from sammobile.com or using Frija Tool

then Flash via odin.

you can also try resetting your phone. do not remove your sim card while performing reset.

once the device is formatted you see prompt option to change your region to India.

once it changes to india you'll receive latest OTA notification.

I have no update version for my Samsung galaxy on8 (2016), which stuck at Android 7 version only... I have not received any update version info
