Software update 2022

I just updated my galaxy note with the latest 2022 software and my phone keeps waking up regardless that I disabled all gestures. The battery power has similarly gone weak... help

Hi, one4gino kindly backup your data and reset your phone to factory.

1. From the home screen, swipe either up or down to access apps.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Cloud and Accounts
4. Tap on Backup and Restore
5. Select Backup.

You can also backup and update using Samsung Smart switch. Herewith Smart switch link:

Install the program on your computer and connect your phone to your computer using an Original Samsung cable and follow the prompts.

3. Select General Management.
4. Select Reset.
5. Select Factory data Reset.
6. Tap Reset.

Please can anybody assist with a software update for my Galaxy Note 5 as my device tells me all updates done. But my Banking apps wont download as i get a "Your device isn't compatible with this version. Can I get an software upgrade to latest android on website

Hi Desiree Nagel, apologies for the inconvenience caused, kindly be advised that the Galaxy Note 5 device software update starts from Android version 5.1.1, up to 7.0 depending on the region, this is due to the device RAM and ROM storage not being compatible with the latest software.
