Screen gard is needed or can we always use without screen protector

I am using my note 9 with tampered glass but I want use without any screen protector so how long can use without screen gard
Can S- pen scratch on display . 
I think Company give S pen so desplay is more scratch resistant gorilla glass.

screen guard is not available.only tempered glass screen protector is available

hey i have put screen guard in my note 9 and with lifetime warranty a single scratch they will change it
and it is really good
