You don't need Internet connection to use Samsung Pay. Samsung pay uses NFC which doesn't require Internet. You can make payment at anywhere with your phone without Internet. I use mine a lot!.

Hi, seumo kindly be advised that in terms of setting it up you will need internet access for a Samsung account access including if there are any updates to complete the account setup.

Once all that is done using it will not require any internet access.

Please also note that you will only have a maximum number of 15 transactions without internet.
