I bought note 9 two weeks ago. everything is perfect, except Wi-Fi issues. the problem is: Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Wi-Fi connection that keeps dropping, keeps disconnecting from Wi-Fi network. when the phone is idle (not using, during the sleep time, or when we are in kitchen, or busy with some other stuff) To understand better please refer below: https://thedroidguy.com/…/how-to-fix-your-samsung-galaxy-no… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbKkEZV2LdE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_brtUUgi5k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBn66CeOAuc What I Tried: Taken the mobile to Samsung Store where I bought the mobile. they did reset and load the s/w again, but no use. again, I went to the store today, after looking at it they saying the problem is with my Wi-Fi network not with device. but what they don’t understand is before going to them 1) I spent 5-6 hours of time reading about the issue, watching videos about the issue on YouTube. 2) also tested this under 5 different Wi-Fi networks (my friends, relatives houses, work places, open Wi-Fi) am experiencing the same issue everywhere. 3) I am staying with my friends, they have no issues, and also, we don’t see any issues on our other devices (android, windows, iPad, Laptop) The store people saying its Wi-Fi problem, nothing to do with device. Its giving me too much stress, and worry. Don’t know what to do. Can anyone help me, what I need to do? Where to go?

thanks for your kind response. yes when I notice the issue I have taken to Samsung service center they tried both -> resetting settings

--> resetting the phone.

still no use.

and at service center they saying they tested device and everything is fine no issue with the device . but still I am experiencing issues....

when I ask them to replace this device.
the guys at store where I bought this mobile they are saying device is perfectly fine. they can't replace..

I never had this kind of experience with any mobile. I also used note 5 for 3 years not even 1 issue. don't know whom to escalate this issue to.. I live in Johannesburg, south Africa.

thanks for your time Abhy..

--> yes 100% sure because I tested this with 5 different WiFi networks (my place, friends house , work, outside. ). I am staying with my friends (4) they have no issues.. I also have note 5, iPad, Lumia , hp laptop . never experienced this kind of issue on any of my other devices... I am 100% sure it's not WiFi connection poroblem..

Even I'm getting the same issue especially with 5 GHz network not in 2.5 GHz network.

Did your issue resolve, if so how?

I have a similar problem.  Next to my phone, I have 7 other Samsung phones that don't have wifi issues so I know it's not my network. I have reset and have done other things that Samsung techs told me to do. Nothing helped. Now, they want me to do a factory reset. I don't have the time or patience to do a Factory reset.  Just said I did and it didn't fix the problem -- then what can I do? Mine even happens while I'm using the phone!
