Samsung Rolling Out Jan security patch for note 8

Samsung is steadily rolling out firmware version N950FXXU5CSA5 for Galaxy Note 8 users  whilst Verizon is also releasing the same patch in the United States with firmware version N950USQS5CRL1

 Anyone with an unlocked US Galaxy Note 8, can get the N950U1UES5CSA1 firmware update. A number of Android OS issues and vulnerabilities are resolved and fixed with this patch in addition to a few high-risk vulnerabilities found in the OS and Samsung’s own Samsung Experience software. Of these, one of the most notable vulnerabilities fixed in the update prevents user data access via Wi-Fi from being interrupted 
Hopefully hits India soon too
