That service center guy is so stupid if he said "Phone uses some sort of flash which we can't see."

The camera shutter remains open for a longer period of time than usual in order to collect more light. That's how night mode works.

I faced the same issue. I was very excited for night mode and as soon as my device rebooted, I immediately opened my camera to test it out.

But you might have noticed that after installing an update, there is a 'Finalizing Update' notification which compiles the update. Once that notification is gone, the night mode will work normally. Of course, this is my particular case and every case is different.

what did you do covering the flash or uncovering the flash light?? because I tried to cover the flashlight the camera fails but when I uncover it, it works fine as butter
