According to a report by Phone Arena, the Galaxy Note 9 could receive Android Pie update along with the Galaxy S9 and S9+ by January 15.

 While the update will bring security fixes along with regular Android Pie features, there is no information as to whether Samsung will provide additional features in the software update package or not. Ahead of rolling out Android 9.0 Pie update to its flagship Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones, Samsung added camera features which are exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in the older Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus phones. With this update, there is hardly much of a difference in the camera features of the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9/S9 Plus.
