I recently switched from one plus 6 to the note 9. one of the main reasons I switched from S9 plus to one plus is the lag. After reading all the reviews, hoping that Samsung fixed the lag I went ahead and bought the ' the next big thing' , little did I know that it would be the next stupid thing. I don't know if it is because my phone had the exynos model or if the game isn't optimized for my phone. but I'm deeply disappointed after spending a fortune on the phone and not being able to enjoy gaming.
PUBG Mobile on PC is filled with bugs I've tried it. On Oneplus 6 post-update I only saw slight stuttering while navigating the parachute but in Note 9 I'm talking serious frame drops. I don't think Samsung will release a different kernel for the exynos version nor will PUBG Mobile developers make an effort to optimize the game for us. The only option I'm left with is to buy the 6th gen iPad or wait for the 6T just a secondary phone for gaming. Except in the gaming department this phone literally outshines every other phone out there.
