Why does Samsung always release these device software updates so late??

Last update with March security patches was released on 18th March 2020 and again this month also its already 20th April 2020 but April security patch is yet to be released by Samsung. Although, software updates for new devices are released in first or second week itself, but software updates for Note 9 is deliberately delayed.

This behaviour of Samsung towards old flagship phones is unexpected and is not accepted.

Dear Samsung, when somebody is purchasing your flagship phones its your duty to provide the flagship type services to them too as per shcedule you had decided.

Bhai I got this for you from internet. try this... if this holds true, then for sure its an another buggy star in March update after Display discolouration issue.

the only way left with us is to wait for lockdown to end. so lets resort to it... We dont have another option rather being optimistic.

I understand. We don't have an option. Btw is your notification LED for missed calls working? It's working for texts. But missed calls? The green flash!

My Note 9 is working fine. by gods grace there is neither display issues nor notification issues.
As for your case you may check notification in Settings. see screenshot attached.

Else you may do the "Reset app preference in apps from setting. See the attached screenshot. then for each individual app (like phone, Whatsapp, etc) you may have to do individual setting like which colour you want for which app....

This is such a absurd way of treatment #samsungindia as we buy flagship models and we expect proper update of the software. Things like this shows unfaithful towards their buyers. Not at all happy with this news.

have you received the update ? at the news they are releasing the may update but as of now m still at march

It seems the May security patch may be clubbed with April and come by month end. UI 2.1 will only come by june. But never know what timelines Samsung may follow

still no update since 18th March, don't know what Samsung is developing...at least they can release security patch that will be enough for the monthly update..
