Guys it's been 10 months since I've been using Note 8 Indian version. The biggest complaint I had has always been the battery. But this August Security Update has made a drastic change. Im getting 5Hrs of Sot over a day of heavy usage and 4G always ON. The standby has improved as well, I slept for 7 hours and the device lost just 1 percentage (usually it used lose 3%). The background app management is improved by Samsung I think. I'm super happy that I don't need to search for a charger by evening 😊 And I will not be doing any more OTA updates cuz I'm afraid of loosing this great backup😊 There might be people who are getting great battery life and all, but that's based on the kind of use. 4G data is always ON for me, and brightness usually is around 50%, I use the device in outdoors and well lit areas. This demands more brightness from the screen.
