Note 8 VOLTE support jio sim

my note 8 is not working with jio SIM to make calls without the app. When I called jio they are saying note 8 doesn't support VOLTE. Samsung says it supports. which is true?!

We're glad you reached out here with your concern. We would like to inform you that VoLTE is SIM service and it will activate automatically when you insert 4G SIM and set is in Auto mode. Also would like to tell you it can be a issue related to the Sim card you are using Kindly coordinate with the Service provider for resolution.

make sure jio sim in sim tray one and see network 4g/volt is selected in setting

LTE/3G network only there no 4g/VOLTE
