Has anyone in South Africa received the one UI 4 update for the Note 20 Ultra yet? Getting a bit ridiculous now

I am still waiting also. It is not acceptable. First it was January and then February. Maybe we must move to I Phone or something else because Samsung is not worrying about South Africa

The reason for the delay are mainly due to Samsung having way too many CSC codes.

They recently are changing their strategy in Europe (all new Samsung phones in Europe will have the EUX code) so any future update will arrive to more phones across that territory more quicker , why only focusing on EU is anyone's guess .

South Africa has THREE CSC codes , XFA XFV and XFE.

they should just have one code for Africa as a whole , AFR if you ask me .

It's ridiculous

@KRSSRK You spoke right over my head. Clearly you know more and I have questions and my questions have questions. I don't know what to ask because I know nothing about this. Nothing

What's the purpose of all these codes ? Does each one get a different OS somehow ?

Hi There

XFA is unlocked stock meaning it will work with any network
XFV is Vodacom Stock
XFE is for networks in South Africa

If you are using XFE it won't work outside of South Africa
But XFA and XFV will work outside South Africa
There's a reason for each thing that Samsung does
