Note 10 plus is very good looking phone. But unfortunately the GPS fix taking such a long time, frequently getting GPS signal lost msg. Even Honor 8 lite which is just around 10k fix the GPS in just a fraction of seconds. This 8 times expensive doesn't work properly. Real shame. I did all the workaround but still very poor GPS sensor it seems. Samsung pls look in to it. If its universal issue pls provide software fix. Or provide replacement. I bought this on 28.8. 19.
GPS issue for note 10 puls is frustrated for me. I am using map for my car. The signal stated weekness and I have no were to go. I made decidion to use my old iphone 8 plus now. Please update for the issue ASAP. I know 10 plus good things, but GBP issue and Edge`s Display`s malfunction is frustrated for the note user. I hope this months update will be solve this issue. It is too long to update.
The Note 10 is much less precise than the Huawei P30 Pro, I have them both side by side, the pointer of the blue dot in Google maps with the Note 10 looks in a completely wrong direction.
And indoors is totally unreliable.
Also, the display is much duller and difficult to see under sunlight (like going in the bike with gps).
i bought Samsung Note 10+ on December 2019, and same GPS issues. As per T-mobile customer support, issue is due to a Samsung upgrade and a coming fix is supposed to come in the next update sometime next week. Difficult to believe as this looks to be an old issue. Any advice on how to solve the problem?
I'm apparently aren't the only one. Right away with my 10 Plus, I noticed Waze would not lock outside. Restarted, reinstalled, nothing helps. It's very inconsistent. Now it doesn't work period. And the Bluetooth has issue keeping connection. For the price and considering Samsung being a good brand I'm starting to think these phones are just aren't tested enough. Surprised considering Korean companies tend to be good but maybe not good enough as QC standards of Japan perhaps.
I'm either case, if there are no fix I'm returning the phone to T-Mo. The issue is not minor. This is pretty major. I agree about the screen being a bit dim in a bright sun also.
Check your time syncronization.... The setting to sync time was turned off. I noticed my phone was 7 minutes fast.... checked the time settings. Turned on auto sync time. Once the time was synchronized my GPS stopped being spotty and my games and maps that needed GPS started working correctly again. The March 2020 update must have turned it off by default and I did not notice until my phone was off from my clock and other devices.
