I have been buying Samsung devices for quiet some time. I have been with samsung since the release of X600 in India. Today I am pretty sure I am ending my association with Samsung with Note 8 as the last. They have improved the aesthetic and revolutionised the hardware of the device time and time again. Whereas the software remains buggy and the worst part of all is over time the device performance begins to lag. I have never expected such behaviour from Note 8. The concept of customer service centre is a joke in India. It is not just limited to the mobile devices. Customer service in every product department is the same. I own a Samsung refrigerator, TV and a microwave oven and have had a bad experience with customer service in every case. No wonder Samsung has lost the top spot as the mobile device seller in India. This is definitely my goodbye to Samsung for good and for sure. Switching to Apple iPhone, SONY TV, Whirlpool refrigerator and IFB oven before the end of this year. Made the decision after investing time to know about the after sales services in India. Definitely better after sales service than Samsung.

hey what exactly happened to your Note 8? btw I don't suggest Sony TV as India is getting 2nd quality and Sony's 2nd quality is pathetic. me along with 2 other friends bought the same 42inch smart tv and 2 from the 3 of us got the screen lines issue in the first month itself. then after an year or so all of us got the issue. and I got the issue in the 2nd year also. I have purchased the extended warranty that's why it got covered, else I would hav been forced to spend another 20K. (we all bought from 3 diff dealers). and for refrigerator if you're looking for sideload model, Bosch is the best

Please don't buy Sony tv. Go for Sony only if you are willing to buy a new tv every year after initial year or two.
