Is it usual to have micro scratches on my note 8 fingerprint scanner (10 days old ) . No contact with hard or sharp things!

yep it happens with phone tht have glass type mterial so dnt wryy use cover so tht ther is enough space between scanner and another medium

hey prasanna, even im a person like you who takes care of the phone a lot. I got micro scatches on the finger scanner as well as on my screen also (without tempered glass). I wipe my fone each day with micro fibre cloth and still all this happens.

The fingerprint scanner should have been ceramic like Oneplus 😐
