Hi Guys,

Just to infrom everyone that if you check manually your software update status in your samsung note 9 you will get the update.....The update is more than 1gb (1590.03mb)...here is the screenshot for everyone.....I was very excited foe this new update...I hope all community member are too excited about the same.....

Please share tour exprience after the update

Note : This is an official & stable update not the beta update.

I have an indian Note 9 bought 2-3 months ago, and it still doesn't show me any update despite checking it multiple times manually in Software Update. Is there any work around for Samsung's shitty software delivery platform?

Thank you bro, I had to finally download Switch for macOS and then do a manual upgrade. Must say it's pretty lame that we can't do an OTA upgrade. This kind of stuff never happens on iOS. Since this was my first Samsung device I never knew that their device backup and restore is far from perfect. Just to backup the Note 9 on a MacBook Pro Retina (USB-C to USB-C) via their App Switch took nearly 2 hours with only 28GB of space utilised out of 128GB. My XS built-in storage is 8-10 times faster when it comes to accessing>>copying>>backing up a 256GB XS is super fast via iTunes.
