Heating / Battery Drain problem

From day one my Note 8 has a heating issue. Earlier it was giving me around 4hrs of continuous  battery backup,but now after 2 years it is giving around 2hrs of backup and heating issue is increased significantly. You can't even be able to hold the phone in your hand for about 5mins.
