It isn't chipset limitation, you can use miracast and other software to imitate wireless DEX(like Sentio Desktop). Samsung just doesn't want people who haven't played enough have it... If Note 9 will have it then Note 10 Lite could have it. But we won't get it the same way S 10 Lite users didn't receive it even though they have the same chipset as the S 10.
i also thought so even bought usb c to hdmi adapter but then found out that on note 10lite the USB C is ver 2, the display alt mode is available in USB C ver 3.x . so it is an hardware issue. which Samsung deliberately did Not want to passon to keep their flagship models selling..... its bit of over pay for us as almost all features availabe in lite series is available in mid range samsung models priced at half the rate. (except s pen)
