Hello!
I am using a SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 8 Exynos Version 64 gb SM-N950F running on 1 JULY 2020 update.
I am waiting for a fix but nothing seems to be fixed.
To explain Black crush in few words: Area with Black pixel where it should show shadow gradient.
Colour Banding:
Gradient colour are not transforming smoothly into another one.

My phone's screen is ridiculously bad to even look at after this. Because let me get straight i bought this to see beautiful AMOLED screen; not to see this bloched screen.
Anyone facing this issue please comment below as it will be helpful.

 
UPDATE: FLASHING THE PHONE TO AUGUST PATCH (AS ADVISED BY SAMSUNG REPRESENTATIVE) DID NOT WORK.

yes i got this problem in the start of July and july patch arrived at the end of the month..I updated it and got more severe issues like sim card not working.Then I flashed my phone with the Samsung provided firmware 2 days after the faulty update was released.Literally had a bad experience..thought this issue will also be resolved..but no luck...Samsung updates are making it even more miserable.

did flashing the phone help? and did you do it yourself or at the service center? i don't have any other issues just this one but it's very annoying. i tried factory reset but it did not work

I did it by myself using Odin.That helped me resolve only the sim card problem.They had given an official notice for that update which affected only Samsung Note8 users.But it didn't resolve this black crush and green tint issue.I still have it.

Service center guys won't help you.I went and returned back with no solution.They turned me back in a minute after saying it's display issue and my display is just 6 months old which I replaced in service center giving 17k due to damage.

I received a call from Samsung saying that this issue will be fixed in the August update. They also said that if I don't want to wait for the update I can visit the service center and they'll fix it without any charge.
