Got the readiness check done in a stable 5G coverage area in Nagpur Maharashtra. Steps for readiness check (because in your account you might only see Device check and coverage check option:
In the search bar of MyJio app search 5G.
Then click on simply 5G drop down on right side it will be written 'in mobiles'.
Then there will be option to select 5G Readiness.
In update select i have already updated, if you have updated.
Jio 5G only works where jio 5g network is stable and you mostly get full bars. At night after 2 am or so it may also work near windows since there is less load on the network and you have more bandwidth. For me this is reality, during daytime I only get 4G LTE but at night after 2 till 6 am I frequently get 5G in my room.
Note: If you just check the device it will still show that you are almost 5G ready, I think that's because of a bug in MyJio app. Regardless just go to a stable coverage area and get the readiness check done. Steps mentioned above.
