Edge lightening Notifications Not working with Whatsapp & Whatsapp Business

Dear All,

Since long we posting this issue. But somehow it has not been addressed by Samsung. 

Since the day samsung introduced Edge Lightening Notifications. Its not working with Whatsapp and Whatsapp Business. 

If you want to use this, You have to put Popup Notifications on for whatsapp. Sometimes its not safe to keep it ok. 

Can Samsung do something about it. Or any solution for this.. ?

I think Pop up notification with edge lighting is the option that works

I think it should work without popup also as its working with other apps like messages and emails

If you don't want pop up, then follow these steps
Settings->Notifications->App that should not come with pop up notification->Type of notification->Notification style->Sound

edge lighting works with whatsapp. check your settings correctly for notifications. .

download edge lighting fix from google play store and follow instructions provided. It will work for all apps as well as 3rd party apps. I am using it and works perfectly

please click on 3 dots and mark as solution.

Go to settings go to display and scroll down to edge screen
goto edge lighting and choose apps
in it choose all available apps see in screenshot
