Dual messenger

Hi every one,

I installed a second version of whatsapp on my Samsung galaxy note 9 ,where it has an option called dual messenger which allows me to use 2 versions of whatsapp with 2 different phone numbers at the same time on the same device, the problem is that photos and videos from the second version not shown in my phone's gallery. Besides,if I try to open camera and send photos directly from the app it says "file formate is not supported "!! How could I solve this issue?

انا فعلت خاصية الدوال ميسينجر للواتس اب لكن الفيديوهات والصور الموجودة في محادثات النسخه التانية من الواتس اب لا تظهر في الاستوديو رغم انى مفعل خاصية اوتو داونلود و خاصية شو ان جاليري بالاضافة انى لو في محادثة وحبيت اخد صورة بالكاميرا وابعتها للى بكلمه بتطلع رسالة فايل فورمات نوت سابورتد

Hi you can try using WhatsApp Business until Samsung releases the patch.

i never used dual messenger option
alternative I am using Whatsapp and business Whatsapp to maintain two numbers in the phone

Hi,

Please note that the issue caused in Dual Whats App as recently Whats App upgraded its version and it changed the file path where all media files are to be saved.

Due to this change, Dual Messenger did not sync media saved at new path and so this is causing problem. Dual IM media sync logic is modified as per the new file path used by Whats App.

Please backup your files before device MR update (Whats App`backup : Whats App settings -> chats -> chat backup -> Google drive).
