Dual App Whatsapp Bug - Media Missing

Since last 10 days the media folder has been abruptly missing. Unable to view any old or new downloaded content on whatsapp clone. Had deleted the app and then reinstalled the clone and it worked well for a day. After that again it has gone missing. Original whatsapp works well.

Raised the issue with Samsung support also but no update yet. 

Any permanent fix to this please?
