Complete Backup Through Smartswitch

Hi All,

To take complete backup for my device through smartswitch app, do I just need to install smartswitch app on my laptop and then click on the backup button ...??

I  want to take complete 100% backup which includes my WhatsApp chat and Data saved in Secure Folder...

Also, once I will get my phone fixed then that time do I just need to click on restore button through smartswitch app...or do I need to take any further precautions...?

yes ... install smart switch in your pc or laptop... ( pc version) ....connect device with computer via data cable .. make sure wifi connection is on both of device. click on both smart switch app .... automatically backup option of your device will be shown in pc ... click there to backup it

after backup process is completed,
make sure that the data you need is backed up.

Whatsapp chat ka to waise bhi whatsapp me backup hota hi..secure folder ka secure fder k andar hai back up/restore ka option aur baki backup lekar kar lo factory reset..follow@interchupipi

Smartwitch will do most of your backup but not 100 percent. Whatsapp chat backups directly to Google drive.. Yes to restore just click restore button and your data will get restored.

you don't have to worry about whatsapp as it backs up in google drive.

There is another way to backup.
when you open my files app you can configure Microsoft OnDrive, Google drive, Dropbox etc.
you can then manually backup your all data that you want to these cloud services.

as you said smartswitch will not cover 100% backup, then what all data will be left out...i mean excluded through smartswitch...
only WhatsApp and Secure folder data....or anything else...?

Samsung made some changes long back what can be backed up by smartswitch
