Choppy Music on Bluetooth

No Solution to this issue anywhere on the internet!

I've been facing this issue for a while now. Whenever I play music via bluetooth, the music stops frequently and then resumes on it's own. Sometimes the pause is for a few seconds but sometimes it's longer.

To verify if my phone is at fault or my headphones, I have used two different bluetooth headphones (JBL & Oneplus) and have faced the same issue with both of them.

The problem starts after the screen is off, as long as the phone screen is On it works fine. I tried restarting, resetting, clearing cache etc. Nothing works.

My phone is Note 8, running the latest stable version of Android 9.0. Need help!

turn off any battery optimizations of that app..make sure it is not in always sleeping apps list..
