Galaxy Note
Following a One UI 7 beta program update on my Galaxy S24 Ultra, text color fails to adjust dynamically during editing, despite palette changes. A resolution is required.

Thanks for reporting this issue. The behavior you're describing on your Galaxy S24 Ultra running the One UI 7 beta—where the text color doesn't update dynamically during editing, even after changing the palette or theme—is likely a UI rendering or system overlay bug introduced in the beta firmware.
Here’s a breakdown and a possible resolution:
🔍 Issue Analysis: One UI 7 Beta builds often introduce bugs related to dynamic theming (Material You). The palette/theme engine might apply system-wide UI changes, but text color in editable fields (like in Samsung Notes, Messages, or system UI) may not update live due to: UI cache not refreshing. Incomplete implementation of dynamic color triggers in editable views. Beta builds disabling some animations or style propagation. ✅ Recommended Solutions: 1. Clear System UI and Theme Cache:
This helps refresh how the UI applies color.
Go to Settings > Apps > Tap the 3-dots > Show system apps Find "Samsung One UI Home", "Theme Manager", and "System UI" Clear cache (and data if needed—note it may reset home screen layout) 2. Force Theme Reapplication: Go to Settings > Wallpaper and style Tap "Color palette", disable it, wait a few seconds, then enable it again Reboot the phone 3. Switch Between Light and Dark Mode Temporarily:
This can force UI refresh for theme elements.
Settings > Display > Light/Dark mode Toggle it a few times, then set back to your preference. 4. Enable Developer Options > Force Dark Mode (Experimental) Go to Settings > About phone > Software information Tap Build number 7 times to unlock Developer Options Go to Developer options > Force dark mode and toggle it Observe if color refresh happens 📢 If None of the Above Works:
Since you're on beta software, this could be a known issue that Samsung is already tracking. You should:
Open the Samsung Members app Go to Beta > Error Reports Submit feedback under “UI/Theme” category Attach a screen recording showing the issue Add system logs when prompted ⚠️ Reminder:
Beta builds can break UI consistency. If this issue disrupts usage significantly and no fix appears soon, consider downgrading to stable One UI 6.1 via Smart Switch (requires backup).
If this helps, please accept it as a solution. Click the three dots on my reply and select 'Accept Solution.' Thanks! 😊 Follow me for more information. 💡
