In the next iteration of your flagship devices, please bring back the following, and let users decide if they want to use it or not. By removing them, you deny them the options and choice.
1.The 3.5 mm headphone jack - This is the most important feature I need back; until the day wireless earphones no longer require charging, I will continue to use wired earphones.
2.The MicroSD card slot - please stop being greedy and let users be able to swap in and out additional memory.
3.Charger (and other accessories) in the box - This is a no-brainer. Please stop with the sustainability BS and throw a charger in the box. We all know you want people to pay the extra bucks for the charger. Again, stop being greedy.😡
4. The IRIS Scanner - Why was this removed? We all know the Samsung Face Unlock is hit or miss, and the Iris Scanner worked flawlessly. It is infinitely more secure, and very useful in this age of Face Masks. Please bring it back.
5. The IR blaster - All your older models had it, so there is no excuse not to bring it back.
6. (.. and hopefully a removable battery? I know I'm a dinosaur, but there are those of us that want to be able to swap out dead batteries for new ones.)
My Note 4 (that I use to date) has the IR blaster. Why should I use separate remotes for everything and waste battery cells on each when my Xiaomi IR blaster controls all the devices in my house? And with regards to the battery, I want to be able to purchase and swap out the battery myself without paying Samsung anymore for the replacement. I have done it multiple times with my Note 4.
The presence of the IR blaster isn't hurting anyone. Those who want to use it can use it, and those who don't can just ignore it. Same with the rest of the features mentioned.
@matinsarkar0033 Well, you are an exception, then. Good for you. Please feel free to ignore this thread, and let the rest of us, who don't want to give in to Samsung's greed, continue to demand to get existing features.
