Dear BA's / Moderators / Admins / Everyone & Samsung,

Just after updating to the September OTA for my device Note10Plus on 15th Sep 2020, it started giving me notification that my phone battery is in BAD state... Though, I never overcharged my phone for even 2 mins, not even ever used any other charger or cable; infact always used my original charger single-handedly, not even used any powerbanks. Always charged my phone through my original charger only...Never dropped my phone or never mishandled the device. After keeping 100% precautions and care (like restarting the phone in every 48 hours and ensure optimisation, do not play any heavy games except normal surfing, never jerk the device and always handled it with utmost care), I am getting an error that says "BATTERY is in BAD STATE" and should be changed ASAP. Please can you justify the reasons behind this, as my device is just 10 to 11 months old.

What is the cause for getting this error, CHEAP HARDWARE....??

If satisfactory support not provided by Samsung then definitely file a consumer suite against the cheap products sold by Samsung..... Hope you can support or escalate this issue to the designated levels...

then leave it brother, restore remaining things

Bro you can try one thing,

dial *#9900#

then scroll down to "reset battery stats", Reset it and restart your phone.

Lemme know if that works or not.

(It's a software bug btw so you need not to worry about any hardware failure.)

And this is why I always recommend updation of phone with Smart Switch. (Atleast when its a Major Update.)
