Is there any chance of Galaxy Note5 getting the Android 8.0 Oreo update..?? I know Samsung only provides 2 years of support Or 2 major Android OS updates to its flagship devices & Note5 has completed its 2 years of support. but since the Note7 demise the last latest Note after the Note8 is Note5 (Galaxy NoteFE is not considered 'coz it is limited to Korea only). so going with this fact Samsung should provide Android 8.0 Oreo update to Note5 as a goodwill gesture to win the trust of its loyal customers. There are rumours on internet of Galaxy S6 series & Note5 getting Android Oreo update. If that happens then it would be the biggest New Year Gift for Note5 & S6 users. Also Samsung will attract new customers with this move.
