Adaptive refresh rate stuck at 120hz

Hello all,

I have noticed that my note 20 ultra screen refresh rate is stuck at 120hz always after the oneui4 update. Though it is set to adaptive the refresh rate doesn't go below 120 even when not using or idle.

Does anyone know the fix?

It seems like some known issue.

Kindly share an error report in the get help section

It goes below 120 Hz when you are in any app and idle. I checked.
For home screen / app screen it does not.

Thank you all for the replies.

After going through all the blogs, I decided to do system partition cache wipe from recovery mode.
After few hours the issue is fixed.
I can see refresh rate is adaptive.
Idle - 60hz
When using ui - 120hz
