"Motherboard issue" after 23 months of usage needing 8k worth repair out of warranty. Apparently same story across all Samsung service centers and associated Samsung mobile stores, say it needs motherboard change and would cost 8K as per company rules, but an unofficial IC change for 3K possible. They open the phone in your presence, say its a motherboard issue but not sure what happens afterwards. Surely something is fishy about it, wont go for Samsung mobiles anymore, atleast wont go for repairs out of warranty.

have been advised against going for M series, store recommended A series instead.

Stores recommend A series because they get more commission on those. M and F series are mainly online oriented and stores don't get much profit from selling those.

NY phone is getting hanged after update. And now getting on n off. Unable to access. Called customer care l, said motherboard issue. M42 5g.
I think it's done by the updates only. Otherwise it 2qs working fine.

The same problem occurred. Phone heats up in between and hangs during use and restarts by taking long time after two year and 6 months.

i have also faced same issue 16 month of purchased phone was stopped charging, i had visited store their executive told me that your phone have motherboard issue and they insist me to buy a new phone in same price of new motherboard. i think my trust was wrong about Samsung mobile it happens 2nd time with me.

this issue is still going on. my s22 ultra had motherboard issue.

I, too, had motherboard issues for F14 5g phone, motherboard replacement cost is 9800/- it is almost 90% of new phone price.

This happened twice with samsung phones. Now, I am recommending people to not use Samsung phones😂

I am also facing this problem in my f34 (1.5year old ). I went to samsung service center and they said me your phone have motherboard issue and we can't do anything to fix and they suggest me to buy a new phone.
