As per samsung, it will provide 3 major update and 4 years of security updates, but samsung is now failing to fulfill its sale commitment to its customers.
Earlier i recommend people samsung, and avoid realme / Vivo / mi.
But samsung is also on same path, thus i think whoever is trying to defend the Samsung please provide info about it.
Second part when we purchased mobile it was came out of box as requesting for Android update, so it shell also not be considered as an update.
Update is something which is running software as per market date, but not behind the market releases.
