Its a clear observation that samsung phones in 2022 M33 5G,A33 5G,A53G or simply to term exynos based devices had no 4k encoding.
To be noted these are all exynos based processors. But a meagre low end device sold at 17k with old 2020 SD750G processor supported 4k and remained still better than even A53 5G.
Yes you get it right F23 5G.
But going forward this trend is continued in 2023.Be it A14 5G using a little advanced exynos chipset does not support 4k encoding.
Realising that samsung intentionally offered SD695 that also does not support 4k encoding in new A23 5G.
India today has marched towards a new era of 5G speed. When we were in 4G,4k display had been a never ignored feature.
But when speed and bandwidth of network is improving ,samsung is taking users back to 2010 old devices specs at same times keeping them debarred from 4k experience.
Atop of that samsung is supporting devices updates for next 4 years. Is it that they dont want people not to enjoy 4k ?.
4k is also not a feature really to distinguish between flagship and budget devices. In real world its just like a person is watching an object with 6/6 vision or a person with -0.5 myopic eye.
Certainly 4k must be enabled or people will very soon part the brand and look for other alternates.I know atleast 7 people who decided this year not to buy samsung devices because of this disadvantage.

The way samsung is not doing the metrics assessment is not a good sign for company sustainability.Doing corporate presentations and seminars on sustainability makes no sense when real application is zero.
