Whatsapp image automatically cropped in M31

After the recent update to galaxy M31, i noticed Whatsapp is cropping photos clicked from read camera. Anyone facing same issue? Or any settings issue?

report to samsung with screenshots of the same. one before clicking photo and one after clicking photo. (Go to Get Help> Send feedback > Error reports)

yes I just now bought this phone and found that the WA photos are getting trimmed

Yeah, as you can see many people are commenting on this post. its a common issue, lets see if it gets a patch from samsung

Got the solution to this...

While capturing a photo from whatsapp just swap camera one time (selfie and then rear). You will get a normal camera setting and if you again swap camera you'll get wide angle

I noticed Whatsapp is cropping photos clicked from read camera. Anyone facing same issue and the same thing is happening for instagram stories. I ll not be able to see the full story. Edges will get cropped. If anything is written over there. Anyone please help.

UPDATE: The above issue is not fixed but we now get 4 camera modes in whatsapp camera (2 primary shooters-front & back and 2 ultra wide shooters-front & back)

kindly report it to samsung. as you would have seen almost every m31 user is facing this. the more reports, faster they will fix it.
