Unable to save Photos from Whatsapp to local mobile

Hi all,

I bought Samsung M31S around a year back but 

I am Unable to save Photos from Whatsapp to local mobile. Then what is the purpose of having 128GB mobile.

Please suggest a solution else i need to throw away this mobile.

Thanks for Your sharings but i want to save only needed / adhoc pictures to my mobile local instaed of entire  all incoming whatsapp media. 

when I have a long press on an image / video, i dont see an open to save to gallery instaed i see all other options. Please help if anyone has any info. Thanks
